Marine Seagrass and Hemp Rugs

The weaves in this collection include both hemp grass, often referred to as mountain grass, and seagrass. These fibers are traditionally harvested in Pacific Rim countries, and have been woven into floor coverings there for thousands of years.

Our Marine collection rugs are woven of undyed fibers whose colors range from sage greens and light tans in seagrass, to deeper tans and browns in the hemp weaves. The fibers themselves are highly abrasion resistant, and more stain resistant than our sisal rugs.
