For this type of spill on sisal rugs, hemp rugs and seagrass rugs we recommend the following :          

Use the mixtures and combinations described below in the order given. Always place solutions in a spray bottle and mist them lightly onto the soiled spot.

• Mix one teaspoon of clear dishwashing liquid with one cup of lukewarm water. Spray solution on spot then blot.
• Mix one Tablespoon clear household ammonia with 1/2 cup water. Spray solution on spot then blot.
• Spray water on spot then blot.

• Spray a consumer-brand dry cleaning solvent onto spot then blot.
